Andhra Pradesh is strengthening railway connectivity with a new train service connecting Machilipatnam and Kurnool City. Covering 499 km, the train will operate three times a week in each direction, improving access between coastal and western parts of the state. Major stops include Gudivada, Vijayawada, Narasaraopet, Vinukonda, Nandyal and Dhone. The service is expected to benefit commuters, business travellers and tourists by providing additional travel options across the region.
