India is boosting rail capacity in Andhra Pradesh by developing satellite stations at Raynapadu and Gunadala to reduce congestion at Vijayawada Junction. Backed by an investment of around ₹300 crore under the Amrit Bharat Scheme, the initiative includes upgraded infrastructure, improved connectivity and revised train operations, aiming to enhance efficiency, reduce delays and deliver a smoother passenger experience.
