Starting February 14, 2026, American Airlines will launch its shortest international service, connecting Miami (MIA) to South Bimini (BIM) in the Bahamas. Covering just 64 miles, the Embraer E175-operated flights will run three times weekly, offering 76 seats including 12 in business class. The route gives travelers a faster alternative to ferries, strengthens Miami’s role as a Caribbean gateway, and supports South Bimini’s tourism growth, driven by luxury resorts and pristine beaches.
