Akasa Air will launch operations at Navi Mumbai International Airport with 15 daily flights, scaling up to more than 40 by 2026, including 8–10 international routes. The new greenfield airport, opening soon, will ease congestion at Mumbai’s current hub and serve as a dual-airport system. Designed to handle millions of passengers and major cargo capacity, NMIA positions Mumbai as one of Asia’s fastest-growing aviation centers.
