Airlines have added approximately 66 extra flights for August 15 to meet Independence Day travel demand. IndiGo contributes nearly 9,000 of the 12,000 additional seats, followed by Air India Express (1,000), SpiceJet (1,000), and Akasa Air (300). On August 15, seat availability jumps from around 505,000 seats earlier this month to over 515,000. Popular destinations like Goa benefit from added capacity.
