Air New Zealand has unveiled a vibrant new uniform collection celebrating Aotearoa’s cultural heritage. Designed by Emilia Wickstead with hand-painted prints by Māori artist Te Rangitu Netana, the collection blends tradition, innovation, and national pride. Worn by 6,000 staff, the designs feature meaningful patterns like kōwhai and purapura whetū. Inclusive touches include the Ie Faitaga for Pasifika staff and a symbolic pilot suit. Officially launching by 2026, the uniforms reflect the airline’s identity and commitment to cultural storytelling.
