Air India and SIA Engineering Company (SIAEC) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to explore collaboration in aircraft Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) services. The partnership aims to strengthen India’s aviation maintenance capabilities, support growing fleet demand, and position the country as a regional MRO hub. The initiative could also enhance operational efficiency and reduce dependence on overseas maintenance facilities.
