Air India Express, a Tata Group airline, will become an all-economy carrier by April 2026, removing premium seats from its 60-plane fleet. This move boosts affordability and efficiency as it targets 30 million passengers in 2025–26. With 37 aircraft added this year, the airline strengthens its network and positions itself as a key low-cost player amid rising demand for budget travel.
