Regent Seven Seas Cruises held a keel-laying ceremony for Seven Seas Prestige at Fincantieri’s Marghera shipyard, marking a key milestone in its construction. Three coins were welded onto the keel for good luck, with Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings president Harry Sommer in attendance. Set for a 2026 debut, the 77,000-ton, 850-guest ship will introduce new accommodations, dining experiences, and an industry-leading space ratio. Regent’s first new class in a decade, it aims to redefine ultra-luxury cruising with Fincantieri’s expertise.
