Hawaii’s first capsule hotel, First Cabin International Hawaii, will open this spring on the 14th floor of Waikiki Business Plaza. Operated by Japan’s First Cabin, the hotel aims to attract Japanese travelers and support Hawaii’s tourism recovery. It features 90 compact economy cabins (27 sq. ft.), business-class cabins (over 6 ft. tall), and first-class cabins (47 sq. ft.) with double beds. Guests enjoy WiFi, laundry, lockers, showers, a sauna, and a lounge, with rates around $120 per night.
