Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) recorded its highest-ever February passenger traffic, welcoming 726,635 passengers—a 7.4% increase from 2024. Aircraft movements rose 6.1% to 5,724, while cargo handling declined 23.5%. Year-to-date, QAIA saw a 10.2% rise in passengers, totaling 1.51 million, with aircraft movements up 5.6%. Airport International Group CEO Nicolas Deviller attributed the growth to enhanced connectivity, including Libyan Wings’ addition, reinforcing QAIA’s role as Jordan’s top gateway and its recognition as the “Most Enjoyable Airport in the Middle East.
