Lufthansa has enhanced its Express Rail service by integrating Deutsche Bahn’s City-Ticket, allowing passengers to use local public transport before and after their train journey to the airport. Valid in 26 German cities, except Siegburg and Basel, the City-Ticket simplifies travel with seamless bus, tram, and rail access. Demand for Lufthansa Express Rail continues to grow, with 500,000 passengers using it in 2024. This 20-year partnership offers over 240 daily ICE connections, making airport transfers more efficient and convenient.
