Metro-North Railroad has introduced the latest addition to its Heritage Series, a New Haven Railroad-themed locomotive celebrating 40 years of service and honoring historic American railroads. The P32AC-DM No. 222, featuring a 1954-inspired olive green and dandelion yellow design, debuts on February 28 from Danbury to Grand Central. Launched in May 2023, the Heritage Series includes six locomotives, each paying tribute to iconic railroads, with all currently operating on Metro-North’s Hudson, Harlem, and New Haven Lines.
