India and China have agreed to resume the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra in 2025 and restore direct flights, marking key steps to rebuild ties. The decisions were made after Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri met Chinese officials in Beijing, following the military disengagement in eastern Ladakh. Both sides will also revive cooperation on trans-border rivers and enhance people-to-people exchanges ahead of the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations in 2025. Talks addressed economic concerns and aimed to restore mutual trust.
