Indian astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla has highlighted the unique experience of receiving a stamp associated with the International Space Station (ISS). The stamp, linked to the orbiting laboratory, is considered one of the rarest travel-related stamps because the ISS sits around 400 kilometres above Earth. Shukla’s experience highlights how space travel is creating extraordinary new forms of travel documentation beyond conventional borders, airports and immigration checkpoints.
