The new Surat–Udaipur Vande Bharat Express is scheduled to begin regular operations in October 2026, strengthening rail connectivity between Gujarat and Rajasthan. The semi-high-speed train will cover approximately 690 km in seven hours and 30 minutes, operating six days a week except Tuesday. It will stop at Bharuch, Vadodara, Anand, Maninagar, Asarva, Himmatnagar, Shamlaji Road, Dungarpur and Zawar. The service is expected to improve travel convenience for tourists and business passengers.
