Chennai Airport’s Terminal 1 has reopened direct cab pickup outside Gate A2, ending a 26-month period when passengers had to use buggies to reach the multi-level car park. The new facility allows travellers to board pre-booked cabs directly outside the terminal. Civil Aviation Minister K Rammohan Naidu virtually inaugurated the new pickup plaza, which is designed to improve passenger convenience.
