France and Germany have removed airport transit visa requirements for Indian ordinary-passport holders remaining within international transit zones while travelling to non-EU destinations. The change can simplify connections through major European hubs such as Paris and Frankfurt. Travellers must still meet conditions, including remaining airside and avoiding landside transfers or baggage collection requiring entry into the Schengen area.
