The Royal Thai Embassy in New Delhi has announced that Thailand’s Electronic Visa (e-Visa) system will launch in India on January 1, 2025. From this date, all visa applications must be submitted online, either by applicants or representatives, though the Embassy is not responsible for incomplete submissions via representatives. Visa fees, payable offline, are non-refundable, with processing taking about 14 working days. Ordinary passport holders can apply via designated companies until December 16, 2024, while diplomatic and official passports are accepted directly at the Embassy or Consulate-General until December 24, 2024. The current 60-day visa exemption for Indian tourists and business travelers remains unchanged until further notice.
