India’s approved Betul-Khandwa four-lane highway could reduce travel time between Indore and Nagpur from around 13–14 hours to approximately six hours. The ₹4,415.60 crore project will cover about 233 kilometres and form part of the wider Betul-Khandwa-Vadodara corridor. Improved road connectivity is expected to support passenger travel, tourism, trade and logistics while strengthening links between Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Gujarat and making regional journeys more efficient for travellers.
