Qatar welcomed 2.338 million international visitors between January and August 2026, marking strong tourism growth supported by GCC demand and rising arrivals from Asia, Europe and other markets. GCC travellers contributed 958,000 arrivals, making them the largest source market. The growth strengthens Qatar’s position as an increasingly popular destination, supported by air, land and sea connectivity, expanding tourism offerings and growing global appeal.
