The future of civilian fighter jet experiences looks challenging, with rising fuel prices, shrinking spare-parts supplies for older aircraft, and stricter aviation regulations increasing costs and complexity. Modern fourth- and fifth-generation fighters are largely unsuitable for civilian operations, with few exceptions. Efforts have also been made to prevent F-14 Tomcat spare parts from reaching Iran. However, near-term opportunities remain, including planned MiG-21 supersonic flights, offering enthusiasts a rare chance to experience these aircraft.
