Maharashtra is stepping up efforts to attract major international meetings, conferences and exhibitions through its Maharashtra Convention Bureau. Headquartered in Mumbai, the bureau will connect event organisers with government and industry while promoting the state as a global MICE destination. Its initial focus includes Mumbai, Pune, Nashik and Nagpur, potentially bringing more international events, business travellers and event-led tourism to the state.
