Civil Aviation Minister Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu led a Parliamentary Consultative Committee meeting in Mysuru, discussing the next UDAN phase, Flying Training Organisation reforms, and IGRUA’s modernization. India has invested nearly INR 10,000 crore in UDAN over the past decade, with INR 28,840 crore approved for the next phase. Reforms aim to expand pilot training while maintaining safety standards. IGRUA has also achieved record aircraft utilization and its first budget surplus in over two decades.
