Air India is set to move all its flight operations to and from Visakhapatnam to the newly established Alluri Sitarama Raju International Airport in Bhogapuram starting August 17, 2026. The airline will retain the original VTZ airport code for these services. The route between Bhogapuram and Delhi will continue with 14 weekly flights, offering passengers connections to various domestic and international destinations through Air India’s hubs. The new airport features an upgraded terminal with enhanced passenger amenities and seven aerobridges.
