SkyHop Aviation has partnered with Noemi Aerospace to explore electric seaplane operations across India and South Asia. The companies will assess technical, commercial and regulatory requirements, with SkyHop targeting up to 10 Noemi aircraft by FY2030. Electric and hybrid aircraft could form 20–25% of its future fleet. The initiative aims to strengthen connectivity across India’s islands, coastlines and remote regions while advancing sustainable short-haul air travel.
