Uzbekistan and Malaysia are discussing simpler visa arrangements for Uzbek travelers, including improvements to the existing 30-day visa-free regime and easier access to longer-term visas. Talks in Kuala Lumpur aim to support growing tourism, education and professional exchanges. Malaysian officials have noted rising numbers of Uzbek citizens traveling for studies, skilled employment and holidays. Currently, Uzbek travelers can enter Malaysia visa-free for up to 30 days with a return or onward ticket.
