Indian Railways has approved seven new Amrit Bharat Express services connecting major cities across northern, central, western and southern India. The new routes include Dhanbad–Coimbatore, Charlapalli–Gorakhpur, Gorakhpur–Bandra, Gorakhpur–Delhi, Subedarganj–Lokmanya Tilak, Prayagraj–Udhna and Prayagraj–Lokmanya Tilak. The services are aimed at providing more affordable, comfortable long-distance travel while improving direct connectivity between important cities and regional centres across the country and making intercity journeys more convenient for passengers.
