Canada and Mongolia have expanded their bilateral air transport agreement, effective July 3, 2026, to allow for direct passenger services and unlimited cargo operations. This agreement aims to significantly enhance transcontinental connectivity between the two nations. Under Canada’s Blue Sky Policy, the agreement provides the legal framework for these flights. The updated framework permits direct passenger services for the first time and allows up to three weekly passenger-combination flights per country.
