India’s Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS) has approved domestic cargo operations at Tiruchi International Airport, a move long awaited by local businesses. This will facilitate more efficient transport of goods to major domestic destinations like Hyderabad, Mumbai, Chennai, and Bengaluru. The operations will use a dedicated area and be screened by AAI Cargo Logistics and Allied Services Company Ltd.
