India is accelerating its high-speed rail programme by developing an indigenous signalling system for future bullet train corridors. The technology will be deployed after the Mumbai–Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail project, strengthening self-reliance in railway infrastructure. The initiative aims to improve operational efficiency, enhance passenger safety and support the expansion of India’s next generation of high-speed rail network.
