Maharashtra is set to enhance the Koyna Backwater Festival 2026 with new attractions to position it as a world-class tourism event. Planned highlights include adventure sports, houseboats, floating markets, cultural performances, laser and drone shows, heritage tours and wellness activities. Scheduled between Christmas and New Year, the festival aims to attract more domestic and international visitors while promoting the state’s tourism potential.
