Thailand is promoting Wat Phra Mahathat Woramahawihan in Nakhon Si Thammarat after its inscription as the country’s ninth UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Tourism Authority of Thailand has launched a year-round campaign inviting visitors to explore the destination’s Buddhist heritage, cultural traditions and local communities. The initiative aims to encourage responsible tourism while boosting travel to southern Thailand.
