India is enhancing its global aviation reach by developing a Hub and Spoke model. The plan includes establishing 4 major hub airports and 40 additional spoke airports to facilitate seamless international air travel. Air India has launched ‘Easy Connect’ flights from Amritsar, following Varanasi, which connect smaller cities to 27 international destinations via Delhi. Passengers can complete check-in and immigration at their origin, with future routes planned from Ahmedabad, Goa, and Kochi.
