American Airlines is significantly expanding its network in Q3 2026, adding 12 new destinations to reach a total of 361 airports globally. This expansion includes six new US airports—Gunnison, Lewisburg, Staunton/Waynesboro, Vero Beach, Lincoln, and Marion—with Staunton/Waynesboro and Vero Beach being entirely new to the airline. Additionally, six international destinations have been added: Puerto Escondido, Bimini, Caracas, Budapest, Prague, and Maracaibo. The airline is notably returning to Venezuela and strengthening its presence in Central Europe. Only Doha Hamad International Airport has been removed from its schedule.
