Azerbaijan has introduced a one-year visa exemption for ordinary passport holders from Japan and South Korea, effective from July 1, 2026, to July 1, 2027. Eligible travelers can enter visa-free up to three times during the year, with each stay limited to 30 days. The initiative aims to strengthen tourism, simplify travel, and enhance international cooperation. The exemption applies only to tourism, while travelers staying beyond 15 days must complete local residence registration.
