Royal Caribbean’s Legend of the Seas, the world’s largest cruise ship, has started its maiden voyage from Turku, Finland, to the Mediterranean. The new Icon-class vessel is the first of its category to operate in Europe and can accommodate up to 7,600 guests. Onboard attractions include seven swimming pools, ten whirlpools, a surfing simulator, water-based entertainment, and Broadway-style shows, setting a new benchmark for cruise travel.
