India is accelerating investments in metro, RRTS, and suburban rail networks, aiming to become the world’s second-largest metro system while promoting sustainable urban mobility and Transit-Oriented Development. Meanwhile, China plans to expand rail tourism with over 160 tourist trains by 2030, and Siemens Mobility is advancing hydrogen and hybrid rail solutions in Europe. New railway projects are also set to improve connectivity in Chhattisgarh and strengthen trade links between Türkiye, Saudi Arabia, and Europe.
