The Srinagar–Jammu highway is expected to reduce travel time to just three hours following the completion of 25 tunnels and major highway upgrades. According to Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, 20 tunnels have already been completed, with the remaining works progressing rapidly. The project is set to improve connectivity, support tourism growth, and enhance travel across Jammu & Kashmir.
