Jammu and Kashmir is expanding its winter tourism by identifying seven new ski destinations: Sonamarg, Doodhpathri, Tosamaidan, Bangus, Sarthal, Sanasar-Patnitop, and Bhaderwah. Spearheaded by JKCCC, this initiative aims to diversify tourism, enhance winter sports, and boost local economies. Feasibility studies will assess suitability and environmental impact, seeking to distribute tourist traffic beyond popular spots like Gulmarg.
