India has launched a Rs 10,000 crore Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF) price stabilization fund to support airlines facing high jet fuel costs, exacerbated by the West Asia crisis. The fund caps domestic ATF prices at Rs 75.6 per litre. Airlines like Air India, IndiGo, SpiceJet, and Akasa Air have welcomed this intervention, which aims to bring stability to the sector where fuel is a major operating expense.
