Indian Railways is set to launch a new Vande Bharat Sleeper service between Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) and KSR Bengaluru from June 2026. The high-speed train, designed to operate at nearly 160 km/h, will feature upgraded sleeper coaches, improved comfort, bio-vacuum toilets and advanced rail technology. Industry experts believe the service will strengthen business travel, tourism and faster intercity connectivity between two of India’s largest commercial hubs.
