India has approved its first semi high-speed rail corridor between Ahmedabad and Dholera, marking a major step in modern railway infrastructure development. The 134-kilometre project is expected to reduce travel time to just 48 minutes while improving connectivity with Dholera’s industrial region, upcoming international airport and key economic hubs. Officials believe the corridor will strengthen regional growth, sustainable mobility and faster urban connectivity in Gujarat.
