India’s upcoming Delhi–Varanasi bullet train project could reduce travel time between Delhi and Varanasi to less than four hours. The high-speed train may also cut Delhi to Lucknow travel time to around two hours, making long-distance journeys much faster and easier. Officials believe the project will improve connectivity between major North Indian cities and encourage more people to choose trains over flights for shorter trips.
