Jammu and Kashmir recorded nearly 13 crore tourist visits between 2016 and 2025, highlighting strong growth in both domestic and international tourism across the region. Travelers from countries including Japan, Russia, the United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, Switzerland, Singapore and Malaysia are contributing to rising visitor numbers as improved infrastructure, adventure tourism, cultural experiences and post-pandemic recovery continue strengthening Kashmir’s position as a major South Asian travel destination.
