Indonesia recorded more than 1.09 million foreign tourist arrivals in April 2026, reflecting strong tourism recovery and growing international demand for travel across the archipelago. Rising domestic travel, improved transportation connectivity and expanding tourism infrastructure are supporting economic growth while destinations including Bali, Jakarta and Yogyakarta continue attracting both international visitors and local travellers across Southeast Asia.
