Air New Zealand is set to launch “Economy Skynest,” the world’s first bunk bed system for economy passengers on ultra-long-haul flights. Featuring six sleeping pods, the service allows travellers to book lie-flat rest spaces for four-hour slots. Designed for routes over 16 hours, it aims to improve comfort, offering a practical alternative between standard economy seating and premium upgrades.
