Indian Railways has introduced special trains connecting Kolkata, Patna and Dibrugarh to manage rising travel demand between April and June 2026. New routes, including Lalkuan–Kolkata and Dibrugarh–Kolkata, aim to improve connectivity and reduce congestion on busy corridors. Existing Patna–Howrah services will also continue, offering multiple travel options across sleeper, AC and general classes, ensuring smoother, more convenient journeys for passengers.
