To manage rising summer travel demand, Indian Railways has introduced a special weekly train connecting Karnataka to Rameswaram. The Hubballi–Rameswaram route, popular among pilgrims and holiday travellers, will now offer improved connectivity across multiple districts. The initiative aims to ease passenger congestion while providing a direct and convenient travel option.
