Indian Railways has launched the Dhanbad–Coimbatore Amrit Bharat Express to strengthen connectivity between eastern and southern India. The train links Jharkhand, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu across a nearly 2,800-kilometre route. The service aims to offer affordable long-distance travel for migrant workers, students and business travellers while improving regional connectivity.
